I'm a professional writer and editor who has lived in Taiwan since 1999. As a recreational angler, most of my fishing experience centers around my hometown in southern California. As my two young children reach an age where I want to introduce them to my favorite pastime, I decided that it was time to learn more about what Taiwan has to offer in way of fishing. I'm no angling expert; let's be clear about that. I want Taiwan Angler to be a chronicle of my experiences as I flesh out what I can about the local angling scene and attempt to experience it from as many perspectives as possible.
